Ann Arbor offers three notable book fairs annually:
Ann Arbor Book Festival
The Ann Arbor Book Festival’s mission is to promote reading, heighten awareness of literacy challenges, and showcase the rich culture of the written word in Michigan and beyond.
The Kerrytown BookFest’s primary goal is to highlight Ann Arbor’s rich heritage in the book and printing arts while showcasing local and regional authors, publishers, book artists, and both new and used/antiquarian booksellers.
Ann Arbor Antiquarian Book Fair
The Ann Arbor Antiquarian Book Fair hosts nearly forty dealers annually in the month of May. The booksellers offer a wide range of material, from collectible Americana, literature and children’s books to scholarly reference works, antiquarian maps, prints and ephemera.
Please take advantage of the wonderful book fairs Ann Arbor offers. There’s a lot more than books at these events, you can meet many of the interesting people who write, read or collect books about Ann Arbor and by Ann Arbor writers. If you happen to learn about any book fairs Ann Arbor has that we don’t know about, please tell us in comments. We’re always trying to do more to support Ann Arbor authors!
